I am still ALIVE!!!!!
Sorry to everyone for not keeping you all up to date better but I am finally settled in and am living here in Hawaii. For starters I want to say thank you for all who supported me finacially and with lots of love and prayers during the few days and weeks I was still at home. It meant the world to me and I appericated more then you will ever know!!
So, I am sure you are all wondering what in the world I am doing here and some days I laugh to myself wondering what I am doing to. Then, I remember I am living out something that I felt was only a mere dream. Have you ever got to do something you only ever dreamt about? If not I highly suggest you do because it brings this whole other view on life. It brings this sense of closeness to God because He is the biggest fan of our dreams but it also brings this satisfaction and joy to your life that makes you want to go further and dream bigger just to see what will happen. As you may or may not know I am working with YWAM (youth with a mission). I am on the Fire and Fragrance leadership track. There is a group of about 30 of us and we are here eager to learn and serve. Most days I serve in student services for the Fire and Fragrance DTS helping all the students that are preparing to come to in January. Then I spend about 2-3 hours four days a week in the prayer, praying and contending for the things that are on the heart of God. It is truly an amazing honor and exprience because there are so many great people I get to be with daily that I am learning and growing with constantly.
Being here so far I realize I am apart of something bigger then myself. A movement that is going to shape the world and that I am walking out the dreams of so many people who have gone before me. I can honestly say today I have seen history in the making. I got to pray over and see a piece of land that has been dreamed about 45 years actually start to be worked. It was amazing and as I was there listing to the visionary, the architecute, and the builders I realized that I saw history being changed, I saw a mans dream being fulfilled and God's heart making its way on the earth. I was inspired. I realized that I have a life time to see the things God placed in heart happen and also that I only have a life time to see the things of God take place and I don't want to waste it.
I know that this journey I am on has so much to offer and also I have so much to learn from it. I know it won't be easy but it will be beautiful I know. It is going to be everything I hope for and nothing I thought of. When I look at the future I have no idea what is going to happen, what it will look like but I can say this, I look at it with no agenda but excited to see what God will do in it. I feel like I have so many stories I could tell you of just the month I have been here and the way God did things and how he has provided. Seeing him move and love on and change so may peoples lives. I hope to share with many of you more about this. However, I just wanted to give you all a quick update and a little bit of a cliffhanger to draw you back to see what will happen next! So I leave with this that I will be back but with what news and new excitement that you will have to wait and find out what it is.
